This "WIKI" space can and should be edited and updated by YOU, as you find information and learn things about living in the area. Anyone may read this space, but you need to ask to become a "member" of "Wikispaces" to edit things.

What's a WIKI?? It's just a web page with an Edit Button! When you're a member, you'll see the edit button on upper right.

Check the upper right of this page: if it says guest then you need to click on the join button to become a free member of "WikiSpaces". (Or you're a member, but not Signed In). You'll be asked to create a new account, but all you need is a username, password and email. No personal details.

After you sign up, Wikispaces will send you an email, which you must answer to become a member. After you are a member you can ask to join any of the many WikiSpaces (This is just one of many...and you can make your own, free, also)

The next time you go to this Wikispace , and if you are Signed In , you will see your username in the upper right instead of guest.

Now look over on the right side of the page, next to GUEST. Click on join . A page will pop up,
...and there will be a box for comments. Please tell us very briefly who you are and what you're doing (or may do) in the area. (We especially hope new hires who are not yet in Genoa will use this!). Click the request membership button.

It may take several hours to get a response, because we have to answer an email to make you a member. And we might be sleeping or working or sightseeing, or shopping at IKEA.

After you are a member, each page will have an edit button at the top. You are encouraged to click that button and make changes on the page, especially adding information that others will find helpful. After finishing a change, click save.

Also, notice the discussion button next to edit. There is a "usually invisible" discussion area "behind" each page that you are encouraged to use to discuss things about this page on this Wikispace. We can talk things thru before adding to the main page, if that seems like a good idea. Please feel free to add to or respond to the discussion. NOTE: There is a separate "discussion" area for each and every page.

Questions or Problems?? Email Terry King I'd like to help you to add things you have learned, so we all can know them...
